They must be buried in the substrate only 15–20 mm. However, experts recommend using peat pots for sowing, since this culture reacts negatively to picking. When the sowing is completed, the substrate in the containers must be thoroughly moistened, and they must be covered with glass or polyethylene on top, after which they are transferred to a warm place (about 21 to 22 degrees).

After the first shoots appear, the peppers need to provide the following temperature regime: at night - from 10 to 15 degrees, and in the daytime - from 26 to 28 degrees.
